The addition of our 5x8 ft / 1.52 × 2.44 m, 4hp, CNC has been a game changer in our shop. It has significantly improved our shop efficiency and accuracy in many ways. At 5x8 feet, there really isn't a project that is too big or too small that can be done on this machine. See below for the many uses for the CNC.

Our custom CNC services can be applied to clients looking for custom furniture or other makers in the trade. With the CNC in our shop, the possibilities for custom furniture really are endless!

Acht Studio owner Adam brings extensive CNC manufacturing experience from his engineering career. Before he founded Acht Studio (then Pompous Fox Wood Co.), he worked for six years in a CNC production environment manufacturing engine components for a well-known automotive company, where he built a strong foundation in precision machining, and efficient programming. Today, that experience is a foundation to Acht Studio’s ability to produce detailed custom components, complex multi-sided parts, and accurate small-batch runs with consistency.

Acht Studio is now a supplier of bespoke CNC wood and metal products to clients and partners in Toronto, the GTA, Ontario and in the United States.

Rotary CNC Capabilities

Our CNC capabilities include rotary machining for turned and multi-sided components. With the addition of a rotary axis to our lathe, Acht Studio can produce precise, repeatable parts with consistent detailing across runs.
